New Features
  • Keyboard Switcher
    • Added a new keyboard switcher that allows users to switch between Hebrew and Greek keyboards. This is currently implemented in Bible, Basic, Morph, Clause, and Inline search. It is also available for the Bible Word Study Guide and its corresponding single section guides, and Workflows keyed to lemmas.       • When Caps Lock is toggled on your current system keyboard will be enabled to allow the typing of search operators without switching keyboards.
      • The keyboard shortcut for switching between Default, Greek, and Hebrew keyboards is CTRL+ALT+Space for Windows and CTRL+CMD+Space for macOS.
  • Library
    • When a Library panel is already in focus CTRL/CMD+L will create a new instance in a floating window that is offset from the original.
  • Media Tool
    • Added a new “Auto-post to My Faithlife” option when sharing to social media from the Media Tool.
  • Resource Panel
    • Added support for the intersection of Inline Search results and Notes filtering.
    • Added a new context selector to the Notes Toolbar in the Resource Panel sidebar.
  • Resource Text Selection Menu
    • Added support to respect reference links when executing Selection Menu commands.
New Features for Mac
  • Search
    • Added new search query suggestions when a word is misspelled or incorrect (e.g. “name in vein” it will suggest “name in vain”) to Bible and Basic Search.

    • Removed the “Turn off Selection Menu” prompt from the pop-up menu.
Bug Fixes
  • Application Startup
    • Fixed a crash when exiting the application during or shortly after startup.
  • Bookstore
    • The feature product title is now a clickable link that will open the resources product page online.
    • Fixed alignment issues with the featured product book cover image and title.
  • Command Box
    • Fixed a bug that caused the Command Box to suggest irrelevant suggestions for Layout options.
  • Community Notes Tool
    • Fixed a bug that caused the Community Notes Tool to not follow the active reference.
  • Concordance Tool
    • Fixed a bug that caused some arrows in the Concordance Tool to be misaligned.
  • Context Menu
    • Improved the speed of Lemma lookups in Bibles with a Reverse Interlinear.
    • Fixed misalignment issues for some items in the Context Menu.
    • Removed Wikipedia from the Look up command for Lemma and Manuscript Form options in the Context Menu. Thread
    • Removed the Wikipedia Tool from the Context Menu in non-English UI’s.
    • Removed Pronunciation from the Morph option in the Context Menu.
    • Added an external link icon for Perseus Web Lookup to the Context Menu.
    • Fixed a crash when selecting a large amount of text and opening the Context Menu.

    • Fixed a bug that caused the Copy Bible Verses options from the Context Menu to not appear when executed from a search result on a Bible reference. Thread
    • “Show more information” is now pinned to the bottom of the Context Menu.
    • Fixed a bug that caused the Information Tool to remain hidden when covered by another tab when opening from the Context Menu. Thread
    • Fixed various styling and alignment issues in the Context Menu.
    • Fixed a bug that caused the “No results” working indicator in the Look up command group to not take up the correct amount of space.
    • Fixed a crash when collapsing a section in the Context Menu that was still loading.
    • Fixed a bug that caused a Bible Reference copied from the Context Menu to not create the correct Verse Slide style when pasted into a Sermon Document. Thread

    • Fixed a bug that caused the Word by Word section to not select the correct default options in the settings.
  • Media
    • Fixed bug that prevented media from being downloaded offline (e.g. Basics for Biblical Greek Vocabulary). Thread
  • Resource Text Selection Menu
    • Fixed a bug that caused a delay in the Selection Menu appearing when selecting a large amount of text within a Bible.
    • Fixed a bug that caused the Search command to run the wrong search.
  • Search
    • Fixed a bug that prevented Inline Search from filtering all resources in a Multi-view set.
    • Fixed a bug where phrase search results could be missing when a word was repeated (using a different form) within a phrase. Thread

    • Fixed a bug the prevented Text Comparison collections from being changed or edited in a template. Thread

  • Compatibility
    • Fixed compatibility issues with macOS 10.15 Catalina that caused some features to not work (e.g. Sermon Documents, Atlas Tool). Thread, Thread, Thread
  • Installer
    • Fixed a bug that allowed users to open Logos or Verbum from the DMG file, it now prompts users to drag the Logos or Verbum icon into the Applications folder.

    • Fixed a bug that caused tooltips to appear for bubble buttons when not needed.
  • Morph Search
    • Fixed a crash when running a Morph Query Document.
  • Print/Export
    • Fixed a bug that caused Print/Export to not be usable in ebooks (i.e. non-Logos book editions).
  • Resource Text Selection Menu
    • Fixed a bug that caused the Resource Text Selection Menu to display over other applications. Thread
  • Syntax Search
    • Fixed incorrect icons used when adding new items to a search template.
