How do I hide the lectionary, reading plan, etc. from the Home Page?
Click the menu on the relevant Card to remove it from the Dashboard.
Is there a way to set a layout from the Home Page?
If Logos opens to the Home page you can choose or modify a layout and have Logos open to that instead.

How do I refresh the content on the Home Page?
Press F5.
I’m not seeing any excerpts from my Library on my Home Page.
Ensure “Excerpts” is selected in the Explore menu.
Note that Logos only shows excerpts that come from resources on your device.
