Downloading Stuck at Zero Percent

Here are some things to try:

1. Make sure you have “Automatically Download Updates” set to Yes and “Use Internet” set to Yes (in Tools | Program Settings).

2. Try closing Logos, deleting the following files, and then restarting Logos.
Note that {UserName} is your user name; omit the {}; and {random} is some random folder name unique to your computer, but it will be the same in each instance below.)

    File locations if running Vista or Windows 7+:

  • C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\{random}\UpdateManager\Updates.db
  • C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\{random}\DownloadManager\DownloadManager.db

    File locations if running Windows XP:

  • C:\Documents and Settings\{UserName}\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\{random}\UpdateManager\Updates.db
  • C:\Documents and Settings\{UserName}\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\{random}\DownloadManager\DownloadManager.db

    File locations if running Mac OS x:

  • /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/{random}/UpdateManager/Updates.db
  • /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/{random}/DownloadManager\DownloadManager.db

3. Try running bitsadmin /reset from a Windows command prompt – (Logos 4/5 on Windows)

4. Try rebooting your computer
