Bug: Pasting a Bible reference into a Note doesn’t turn it into a link

Copy a Bible reference from anywhere (e.g., the reference box at the top of a Bible window) and paste it into a Note. It pastes in as plain text, not a link. If you subsequently move your cursor to immediately after the reference and press the Spacebar, it turns into a link. This should happen automatically as soon as the reference is pasted in.
