  • Bibliography
    • Added Undo and Redo support for adding and removing citations.
  • Citations
    • Implemented new citation engine. This new engine updates citation formats, and improves citation rendering.
  • Command Box
    • Added command ‘Update active layout.’ (See this thread.)
  • Home Page
    • Running ‘Go’ on a topic from the Home Page will now open a pre-made layout.
      • A Topic Guide, a Sermon Starter Guide (if applicable), and a Bible Word Study will be displayed in the left panel.
      • Preferred Bible will be displayed in the upper right panel.
      • Up to five Dictionaries will appear in the bottom right panel in order of preference.
    • Clicking on the Lectionary widget in the Home Page ribbon launches a pre-made ‘Lectionary Layout’.
      • Clicking on the title of the Lectionary widget in the ribbon will open the resources in the layout to the first reading.
      • Clicking on a particular reading will open the Bibles, commentaries, and tools to that reading.
  • Importing
    • Implemented support for importing Sermon Files from Libronix DLS. To import sermon files enter ‘Import Sermon Files’ into command line.
      • Running the command to import Sermon Files will:
        • Create a new folder called ‘Imported LDLS3 Sermons.’ This folder will be located in the Documents folder on Windows and the Home folder on Mac.
        • Generate a .docx file for each imported sermon, and place these files in the new ‘Imported LDLS3 Sermons’ folder.
        • Create two stubs in Personal Books panel, one for Sermons and one for Illustrations. These will be titled ‘Sermons of [user name]’ and ‘Illustrations of [user name].’
        • Populate stubs with .docx files generated.
      • To build Sermons or Illustrations personal book after running import command, select generated stub in Personal Books panel and press ‘Build book’ button.
  • Indexer
    • Added new Retina Display indexing icon for status bar.
  • My Library
    • Implemented ‘Collections’ section in the info pane which will display hyperlinks for the Collections of which the selected resource is a part.
    • Implemented support for custom Series metadata which can be edited in the resource information pane.
    • Implemented support to transfer series prioritization when resources are assigned to new series. (See this thread.)
  • Media Resources
    • Added capability to skip back 30 seconds in audio resources.

  • Personal Book Builder
    • Implemented support for Lectionaries and Bible Harmonies using dynamic text. (See this thread for a sample .docx file.)
    • Added ability to create a text input box.
      • To create a text input box use the syntax {{input id=IDENTIFIER | type=text | lines=number | width=number | prompt=“text”}}
      • ‘input id = IDENTIFIER’ is mandatory. The identifier value of the id attribute must be uppercase, start with a letter, and may consist of letters, numbers, underscores, hyphens, and periods. It must be unique within the resource.
      • ‘lines=number’ is optional. This controls the vertical size of the text box, in whole number line-heights. Default is 1.
      • ‘width=number’ is optional. This controls the horizontal size of the text box, in whole number character-widths. Note: you can only specify either lines or width. If both are given then the compiler will use lines and ignore width.
      • ‘prompt=“text”’ is optional. This may be used to specify text that will be displayed in the text box until the user inputs something.
  • Rich Text Editor
    • Implemented new rich text editor. Some of the issues this should fix are:
      • Indentation buttons not functioning as expected in Notes on Mac.
      • Potential crash when cutting text from Notes on Mac. (See this thread.)
      • Crash when deleting text from bulleted Notes on Mac. (See this thread.)
    • Implemented automatic hyperlink detection on Mac.
    • Added a button to ‘Apply default formatting’. The keystrokes Ctrl+Space will also apply the default formatting on any selected text.

    • Implemented changes to Read Aloud function in preparation for Audio Resource availability.
    • Implemented voice picker in panel menu. ‘System Narrator’ will be the only voice available for resources without dedicated audio.
