Logos 5.0b Beta 1

Logos 5.0b Beta 1 (5.0.2.0441) was released on December 12, 2012.

New Features

Home Page
- The “Show Home Page at Startup” setting has been removed from the customize menu. This setting can be found in the Program Settings panel.
Layouts
- Updated Layouts panel to utilize a new user interface.
- Added concept of active layout, which once selected is marked with a check mark in the Layouts panel. This layout will remain active until a new layout is selected or the program is restarted.
- Updated main application title to include active layout name.
Mobile Download Management
- Reenabled Mobile Download Management. (See Known Issues.)
Settings
- Added setting to select startup layout.
- Added setting to enable or disable community ratings.
- Added setting to enable or disable community tags.
Synchronization
- Implemented sync for History panel.

- Fixed bug which caused existing collections utilizing ratings to employ both personal and community ratings. Note: To set up a Collection for personal ratings use ‘myrating:x’. Existing collections using ratings have been migrating to use this tag.
Context Menu
- Added Sense category for words with sense data.
Documents Menu
- Fixed bug which prevented filtering by ‘Today’ and ‘Tomorrow’.
Explorer
- Added Bible Events section.
- Split Biblical People, Places, and Things into three sections.
- Fixed bug which prevented Biblical People, Places, and Things from exporting icons.

- Fixed bug which caused crash when query was too large.

- Added notation for untranslated words in Translation section.
