Viewing Calendar Devotionals

If you scroll through the Home Page you may have noticed calendar devotionals (Daily Devotional). You can turn these ON or OFF and also select which ones appear on your Home page.

Turning ON or OFF Devotionals

  • Open your Home Page (Logos 4/5 shown below)

  • 2. Click on the Customize icon
  • 3. In the pop-up menu, click on Devotionals (above) or Daily Devotional (below). When checked devotionals will be shown in your Home page otherwise they will not be shown.

Selecting Devotionals

You can select which devotionals are shown on your Home page. Logos will show at least 3, but you can have more shown. To do this you will need to Prioritize your Devotionals. The steps below will guide you through this.

  1. Open your Library, preferably in a floating window
(if you do not know how to do this, see Opening using the righ click method).

  2. In your Library window select the Detailed view
(if you do not know how to do this, see item 2 in Library’s toolbar).

  3. In the Heading row click on Type to sort by types in your library
(if you do not know how to do this, see Using a Column heading to filter your resource list).

  4. Locate the type Calendar Devotional and click on it to expand it. (your list of devotionals will vary depending on the content of your Library).

  5. Now you will need to add devotionals to your priority list
(if you do not know how to do this, see Prioritizing).
    1. You will need to prioritize at least 3 devotionals as this is the minimum that Logos shows on your Home page.
    2. If you prioritize more, then more devotionals will be shown on your Home page.

  6. Once your devotionals are prioritized, open the Home page and press F5 to refresh your Home page. Now look for your devotionals in your Home page (change pages to see them all).

Opening Devotionals in your Layout

This is shown in this post. It shows how to open multiple devotionals in your layout each day.
