How to Prioritize resources
Updated for Logos version 25+
Various tools like Bible Word Study, other Guides, right-click Context menu, Parallel Book sets, Resource selection menus,
... can list resources in your order of prioritization versus the default order that Logos uses, which may not be what you expected.
To do this go to Library, click on Prioritize Books in the panel menu and add books to the list

Sample list organisations appear below, and it is suggested that you type a filter in the Library Find bar to see resources in that category.
Abbreviations are accepted e.g. type:encyclop to specify encyclopedias/bible dictionaries.

Note 1: The minimum number (No.) of resources is a guide only. Five is the maximum number of resources to appear in the Context menu, but you can specify more in case a value is not found in some of your top 5. Passage Guide will list the number of commentaries that you specify and the Parallel Books menu can list all your resources.
Note 2: You can mix Hebrew bibles and Septuagint bibles depending on your preference for Greek or Hebrew in the Old Testament.
Note 3: Bibles and Commentaries are both accessible via bible passage references, so if you prioritize one or two commentaries (or Series) among your top five bible resources they will be listed in the Context menu for a bible reference. For example:
- ESV (Preferred bible)
- NET
- NKJV
- NIV
- Bible Knowledge Commentary
- NRSV
—> NRSV is included for Apocryphal/Deuterocanonical books that are not in other bibles
—> Bible Knowledge Commentary is a one volume resource that comments on all verses in Protestant canon so can use right click context for a verse to quickly open commentary
