Logos 4.0d Beta 2 (v4.04.4.0265) was released on June 1, 2010.
New Features

- Command box
- ‘Scan DVD’ command will display an option for all connected CD/DVD-ROM drives in which media is inserted (e.g., ‘Scan D:\’).

Bug Fixes
- Bible Word Study
- Grammatical Relationships setting change to “Verses” will now be saved.
- Lemma is now displayed in correct form when hovering over preposition in Preposition Use section.
- Clippings
- Fixed bug that prevented Find (Ctrl+F) from working (broken in Beta 1).
- Copy Bible Verses
- Fixed crash (InvalidOperationException) that could occur when opening CBV while working in a layout. (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/17566.aspx)
- Only the top line of an interlinear Bible is copied (default top line), rather than multliple lines that run together. Manual copy and paste will still bring over lines currently enabled in resource.
- Highlighting
- Fixed bug that prevented pre-defined styles from being applied when Spanish UI in Logos 4 was enabled.
- It is no longer possible to delete a style by executing Undo. Now Undo will only restore a deleted palette/style, and redo will re-delete them. (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/16065.aspx)
- With text selected in a resource display, but with a note text box focused, Ctrl+K no longer applies a highlight in the resource. It focuses the hyperlink box, as expected.
- Home Page
- Fixed bug that could cause Content preferences to be overwritten after they were modified on one computer, and then Logos 4 was opened to home page on second computer where Content preferences had not been changed. (See known issue below.)
- Passage Lists
- LDLS 2 verse lists can now be directly imported into Logos 4 without opening in LDLS 3 first, and will include the passages.
- Program Settings
- Program Scaling help (?) tooltip was updated with current information.
- Resource Panel
- Fixed bug that could cause some citation style previews, on information panel, to be static, when panel was wide enough to display citation styles inline, rather than as drop-down list.
- Rich Text Editor
- Font colors (such as red letter Words of Christ) will be removed from copied text. This will be revisited later.
- Hyperlinks to Search panel now work as expected in rich text editor.
- Search
- Passage List saved from non-Bible Morph search will now be filled with all the references from the search.
- Search Analysis
- Fixed crash (InvalidOperationException) that could occur when switching between Search panels with Analysis view active.

- Text Comparison
- Export to HTML will export column view to tables, as RichTextToHtml now supports tables.
Known Issues
- Handouts
- Themes revised for program universality are incomplete.
- Home Page
- Home Page consumes CPU and memory while it is closed.
- Home Page overwrites preferences during new installation.
- Resource Panel:
- Hebrew vowels can be clipped in the reference text box.
- Rich Text:
- Paste option on Hyperlink box context menu is grayed out after copy function. Workaround: Ctrl+V.
- Self Tests:
- The courses in the Self Tests tool are collapsible, but the settings are not saved in Beta 2.
- Title bar
- With Custom Chrome enabled in Logos 4 on a Windows 7 system, the “Logos Bible Software 4” title bar may be black with the Minimize, Maximize, and Close buttons not visible (the buttons are there and still work, but cannot be seen). The workaround is to enter Set Custom Chrome to No in the Command box.
