New Features & Improvements for Subscribers
These features require a license. If you don’t already subscribe, you can get a temporary license for the features marked with an asterisk during the beta period by becoming a follower of this Faithlife group. The license will expire when v36 is released to the stable channel.
- Bible Study Builder*
- Bible Study Builder is a new tool that helps you create discussion questions for a small group Bible study. The questions sidebar allows you to type in a Bible reference, and it returns a list of possible questions that can be added to the Bible study editor. These questions come from Bible Study guides from the user’s library, and users can choose to generate more questions using AI if they wish.
- From there, you can move questions into your Bible Study document, reorder them, edit them to reword them, and add your own questions, notes, or additional text or headings. At the end of this process, the output can be shared or exported.
- Editing can be done online and offline. This feature is available on iOS and Android – phones, tablets, and iPads.
- Sermon Manager and Sermon Builder on Android Tablet*
- It’s finally here! You can now edit sermon documents from the Android Logos app. Similar to iOS, this is available on Android tablets (not Android phones).
- Factbook
- Factbook entries for a person will now include three new sections:
- People, Places and Things.
- Biblical Events.
- Reported Speech.
- Added ability to retain lens selection in saved shortcuts and links
- Verse references will sometimes include extra information to add clarity on the chosen key.
- The commentaries section is now restricted to theological commentaries when in the theological lens.
- Where needed, verse references will now include details of the verse map they use (e.g., BHS Joel 3:1).
- Smart Search
- When a Smart All search returns 4 or more locked results within the top 10 results, a banner will now appear, to let you know that you could switch to a Books search if you only want to include results from your own library.
