Last year I bought both the AYBD and the Dictionary of Theological Interpretation (Baker). Even though the Baker volume is a one volume dictionary, and therefore fairly limited in scope and detail, I have been pleased with the sort of information and thoughtfulness I’ve found in it, and the ways in which it provides the theological lens that is missing in the AYBD.

Best new resource for me was Dictionary for Theological Interpretation of the Bible. Good hermeneutical articles and summaries of how to approach the message of each Bible book.
