Logos 4 Windows Is Hanging Right After Startup

WPF Presentation Font Cache

The most common cause of a hang right after the main window is displayed is corruption in the WPF Presentation Font Cache. To resolve the issue:

1. Stop the font cache service
   • Start > Run: services.msc (or start Task Manager, select the Services tab and click Services/Open Services at the bottom)
   • Find “Windows Presentation Foundation Font Cache 3.0.0.0” in the list.
   • Choose Action > Stop on the menu.
2. Delete the cache file (FontCache3.0.0.0.dat) in:
   • Windows Vista/7/8: C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local
   • Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Application Data
3. Reboot the computer
