Logos Pro New Features & Improvements

An additional Sermon Assistant has been added. This helps you get started with sermon prep by suggesting an outline based on a passage and/or theme. Thread.

  • The Insights Tool is now available while working offline
• Search
  • The ‘Add Versions’ picker now can match item subtitles when filtering.
• Sermon Assistant
  • Added Help Cards to appear for first-time Sermon Assistant subscribers.
• Summarization
  • An “out of credits” message now appears in the summarization side panel when a user has run out of credits.

Logos Pro Tweaks & Bug Fixes

• Insights
  • Corrected styling for Insights tool icon.
  • Parallel passages card will no longer get stuck in a loading state when scrolling through a resource.
  • Any cards with no results will now stay hidden until they have results to show.
  • Updated resource tooltips in the insights tool.
  • Resources opened from the related resource card in the Insights panel will now be put in a link set with the original resource.
  • Parallel passages card will now match the set application language.
  • Parallel Passages will now be included for single verses as well as verse ranges.
• Search
  • Performing a Smart Book Search and clicking on a result heading will now navigate to the beginning of the result preview.
  • Performing a Smart Search with a non-english UI while running an English query will now generate results in English.
  • Entering text into Add Version Picker in a Bible or Morph Search will now hide sections that don’t produce results.

• Community Notes
  • The Community Notes tool has been removed from the app. Any Community Notes you created are now stored in Notebooks in the Notebooks tool.thread
• Operating System
  • MacOS 11 (Big Sur) is no longer supported. thread

  • Improved filtering of collection in the Add Version picker.
• Visual Filters
  • Visual filters have been re-grouped into three main categories; Markers, Emphasize, and Reformat.

Bug Fixes

• Autocomplete
  • Resolved a bug that caused autocomplete controls in Copy Bible Verses, Resource panels, and other various panels to ignore valid query inputs. Thread, Thread, Thread, Thread, Thread, Thread, & Thread.
• Canvas
  • The application will no longer hang when accessing the Canvas tool when it is unowned.
• Factbook
  • Factbook will no longer load blank when opened from the Today in Christian History card on the Homepage.
• Favorites
  • The application will no longer crash when opening Favorites sidebar inside a resource panel.
• Notifications
  • AI credit reset date will always be included in the notification window when 80% or more of monthly credits have been used.
• Search
  • Added additional padding in overflow More menu for additional Search kinds.
  • Changing the passage selection in a bible search will no longer pop up the auto-complete drop down.
  • The application will no longer crash if a search is executing with having no books downloaded.
  • The application will no longer crash when navigating to a Timeline Resource via the Title link in the search result.
  • Precise syntax autocompleter will no longer remove the reference operator.
• Sermons
  • Launching Preaching Mode will now respect the application theme set within the desktop application.
  • The ability to drag and drop popular quotes into your sermon builder.
